Welcome to Day 1!
If you are here on this page, congratulations. You have taken a huge step towards starting your very own online business. A step that most people never take.
In todays lesson I will be talking about what will be covered in this 5 day course.
I will also be giving you a general overview of what you will be doing as the owner of a online business.

At the end of each lesson I will have a few tasks for you to complete. This will help keep you on track and get you in the mindset of TAKING ACTION! Remember, success is achieved by those that take action. Researching and learning about online business is a great first step, but in order to achieve success you must take the next step and start implementing what is being taught.
So stick with me for the coming days, and I’m going to show you some stuff that can truly change your life! It did for me.
A little about me
As you probably know by now, my name is Derek. I am a full time internet marketer. I spent most of my life working jobs that I totally hated. I missed being able to spend time with my family and doing the things that I love doing.
So one day I decided to do something about it, and started pursing the idea of having my own online business. It took some time and a little (a lot) bit of trial and error, but I eventually got to the point where I was able to support myself and my family with the income I was generating with my websites. So I quit my job, which was a bit scary at first, and started pursing my online business full time.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. My online business continues to grow every single month. The nice thing about working for yourself is the more effort you put into your business, the more money you will make. You also have the luxury of working when you want to. Its nice to be able to go on a spur of the moment vacation and know that your business will continue to generate revenue without you.
I hope you find some inspiration in my story. My website is not only about learning how to make money, but its also about getting people living their lives the way they were meant to be lived.
What my course can do for you
I understand that each person receiving this email may not be on the same experience level with regards to internet marketing and online business. With that being said, I hope that I am able to offer some value to everyone, regardless of your level of experience.
The lessons and tasks that I cover in this course are fairly basic, but are crucial in terms of getting you in the right mindset for building a successful, long term business.
Beginner friendly
You certainly do not need to be an expert to benefit from this course. I designed it with the idea that most of the people in my course will likely have little to no prior experience with internet marketing. Just remember, I was new to internet marketing at one time too. I know first hand how daunting it can seem at times.
I was able to achieve success. If you follow instructions and take action, you absolutely will be successful too.

Day 1 Tasks:
Task 1: Create a FREE account at the WA online business community
You should have done this already, but if you haven’t, do it now. Remember! Its a FREE account. No personal information needed to create the account.
There is no need to buy anything to complete my course. But I will be linking to some free training and videos inside the WA community, and you will need an account to view them.
After sign up you will also be enrolled in the WA Online Entrepreneur Certification Course. Its free of course and will get you set up with your first website (also free). Once your inside, click the green ‘GET STARTED HERE’ button.
Task 2: Add a profile picture and a little info about yourself
Inside the WA community you have a profile page. It might sound kind of silly, but I want you to add a profile picture (it can be anything) and fill out the ‘about me section’. Having a completed profile will help the community better connect with you. Some of the members are newbies and some are pros. It can really be beneficial to you being able to connect with them.

Task 3: What are your goals?
I want you to make a mental list of the reasons why you want to be successful with your own online business. Believe it or not, keeping your goals in mind is a huge motivating factor if things start getting tough.
Whenever I started to feel frustrated or even doubtful, I just kept thinking about my goals, and it really helped me push through these tough times.
