Pacific Affiliate Review – I Smell Crap

I came across Pacific Affiliate (PasAff) on Facebook and was interested in learning a little more about it.

Making money online is what I do, so when I saw Pacific Affiliate’s promo I was curios if I could expand my online business and make some money with this program.

For starters, What is Pacific Affiliate?what is it image

Pacific Affiliate is a Multi-level marketing program (MLM).

If you are unfamiliar with MLM’s:

MLM is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation. – Forbes.com
I am personally not a big fan of MLM programs but they do have the potential to be a profitable venture for the right type of person.
I always hated the idea of recruiting friends and family into my business schemes, and I imagine most people feel the same way.
With MLM’s, recruitment is the name of the game.
If you aren’t interested in recruiting friends and family, you’re goal will be to network with acquaintances and expand your pool of possible recruitments.

How does the Pacific Affiliate MLM program work?

After looking into Pacific Affiliate, I realized that they do not offer any product line for affiliates to promote.

As a member of Pacific Affiliate, the only thing you have to promote is the PA membership itself.

Not sure if you are familiar with pyramid schemes but:

The Federal trade Commission (FTC) has set guidelines that help consumers discern legitimate plans from illegal ones. The difference between MLM and pyramid schemes under these guidelines are as follows: Sales of actual product or services to consumers, MLM offers products whereas Pyramid schemes do not. – diffen.com

So if you are looking to make money with Pacific Affiliate, you first have to purchase one of their ad packs in order to promote it and earn commission.

Why I don’t recommend getting involved in Pacific Affiliate

I can’t recommend you buy into the Pacific Affiliate program due the a few red flags about the program.

  1. The creator of Pacific Affiliate, Shakeel Babar recently launched a program called Pacific Ads. Pacific Ads turned out to be a Ponzi Scheme. I’m naturally hesitant to get involved in a program where the creator has a history of illegitimate business practices.
  2. There is no product to promote with Pacific Affiliate. No product to promote, is a tell-tale sign of a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes don’t last. Anyone who is unfortunate enough to invest in one will soon lose anything they have invested. It’s only a matter of time.

Is Pacific Affiliate a scam?

I wouldn’t call it an outright scam, but that does not mean that I recommend it. I believe you may be able to make some money with the program, but it will be short lived. Who decides to get involved in an online business for the short term?

Anyone who decides to make money online, wants a business that is not only profitable today and tomorrow, but also 10 years from now.

My recommendation?

If you are serious about building a sustainable income through your online business check out Wealthy Affiliate.

I recommend Wealthy Affiliate simply because it is a program that helped me build my full-time online business. It helped me even though I had no prior experience with internet marketing. I basically started from scratch, and followed the training.

Through the training, help and support of the Wealthy Affiliate community I was able to create a online business that allowed me to quit the job the I hated and live life on my own terms.
